Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The contest is open to women who represent organizations, manage teams, lead business initiatives, run their own environmental projects, or work as activists, influencers, or educators in ecology and sustainable development.
The competition is free and non-commercial. Participants are responsible for the costs of preparing and submitting their application, as well as uploading their project to the competition website.

The submitted project or initiative must have already been realized with a measurable result and proven effectiveness.

The project or initiative should aim to improve the environment, contribute to sustainable economic and business development, and enhance environmental knowledge in the community.

The submitted project or initiative must be realized in one of the BRICS member countries but not necessarily in the participant’s country of citizenship.

You can participate if you are a woman with citizenship from one of the BRICS countries and have more than three years of experience in the environmental field.
Unfortunately, you cannot participate if you are under 18.
Yes, you can live anywhere. However, your project or initiative must be carried out in one of the BRICS member countries, though it doesn’t have to be in your country of citizenship.
You can provide proof from your company, such as a document from the HR Department or an official letter from your manager confirming your leadership in an environmental project. If you are an independent activist, influencer, or educator in the field of ecology, you can submit any materials that demonstrate your experience—this could include social media posts, photos from conferences, or scientific publications.
The project or initiative must already be implemented at the time of application and show proven results. If your start-up has measurable and demonstrable results, you can participate.
No, you can only submit your project to one category. One project or initiative — one category.
The deadline to apply is November 20, 2024.
The Jury is an international team of specialists in the field of ecology, nature management, business and sustainable development.
Here are the main selection criteria for Nominations: relevance, alignment of the project outcomes with its goals and objectives, innovation and uniqueness, social and environmental significance, geographic scope and potential for scaling, the project team's experience and competencies align with the planned activities, public visibility, potential contribution of the project/initiative to global science (for ‘GreenTech’).

The list of finalists will be published on the competition website on December 16, 2024. All finalists and winners will be notified by the Organizing Committee via email.
